Special assembling tool

Czech company TFA s.r.o. offers development and manufacture of unnormalized special assembling tool intended for assembly lines and workshops.

At this catalogue is listed only a bottleneck of the complete product range manufactured by company TFA. The socket spanners were developed in order to meet requirements of special assembling lines in automotive industry, where the emphasis is put to the tool lifetime and its functionality in order to achieve required torque and connection of tightened element (bolt or nut), perhaps magnetically.

Shapes and lengths of the socket spanners are being designed in compliance with requirements of consumers, considering manipulation space of assembly and used types of tightening tools (e.g. pneumatic, electric, manual torque spanners etc.)
Spanners are solid, made out of one piece, axially flexible with use for constant pressure and leveling of assembly variances.
Further is possible to equip the spanners by fixed or elastic magnetic insert for safe threading and holding of tightened bolt or nut.

Integral part of the development and design is internal tool testing, which are being exposed to dynamic and static forces simulating actual load (e.g. socket spanner TORX 40 must in its core diameter 4.7mm be able to carry static torque Mk=45Nm without any signs of wear)

Own production of spanners is based on combination of classic tooling and unconventional method of tool manufacturing (electroerosion machining)

Electroerosive machining /sparking of all inner shapes eliminates initiation of fatigue fractures, which are rising while using different technologies as for example extrusion process.
Thus machined surface is in term of its quality respectively roughness comparable with ground surface, which at this assembling tool significantly eliminates stress at notches, thereby also a risk of initiation of fracture and damaging of spanner. In addition outer profiles are being polished.

Material and its heat treatment are being chosen so that the assembly tool meets all requirements on its mechanical properties - strength, tenacity, hardness and resistance against wear.
